I like to use milk in my buttercream. I just got some Sweetex. All the recipes I have seen using this, call for water. Is milk ok to use too?

It is just fine to use milk with Sweetex (high ratio shortening). If you plan on coloring your BC, I think by using milk you get better/deeper colors..such as red, blue or purple.

I use Sweetex and add powdered milk with the water. Comes out great every time.
