fondant bows????? I made a fondant bow, ( i tried to make a fondant bow) followed wiltons directions exactly! when the loops dried I gluded them with royal icing., stuffed loops with tissue. loops royal icing dried loops became soft, cracked and fell apart. Help!!!!
I would highly recommend either adding gumtex or gumpaste to your fondant. The fondant is just too soft and takes too long to dry.
I personally just use gumpaste when doing bows.
Hope that helped!

We live in a very humid climate and so I always add a "strengthener" to fondant if using to make decorations as it is designed to cover the cake so it can be sliced and decorations need to be firmer. A tip for thorough drying of any decorations is to put them into the oven - DO NOT TURN IT ON - leave the light on ONLY and you will find this helps with drying. Make sure members of your house know that they must not turn on the oven without checking inside first! If you oven has no light then put your decorations under a desk lamp to dry out. Preferably overnight. Hope this helps. Leonie-Brisbane, Australia
