ok so we had some extra batter and made a few cup cakes and a 6' cake. We must have spider fever or something. we were messing around with different colors. these will not be at the party tomorrow. they will be banished. lol not the best thing we can do but we were bored. hope you guys enjoy the laugh. 
LOL...I've banished many cakes. For Thanksgiving last year, I was making a cake just for family. I wanted to see just how fast I could decorate it. I had that cake iced, pumpkin'd, leave'd, border'd and written on in under 5 minutes! Then I had to hide it because my family is the joking kind and I wanted to enjoy my dinner first. It was that bad! Officially banished!
I think I have the most fun decorating when I'm not taking it too seriously (which I do most of the time). Sometimes it's just fun to have fun!
LOL! I think it is cute too!
And FYI - I can't tell you how many cakes I have made with odd icing combos just to get rid of the 6 different colors of leftover icing sitting in my refrigerator.....
Ever see a grey-iced cake with sky blue leaves, purple daisies and brown writing? <grin>
