I am getting ready to make a small white cake with hot pink Daisies all over for a shower...I have never made daisies other than fondant (with a cutter) and wanted to try and see if I could something different. Are they easy? What is the best icing? How do I make them?
Thanks!

I don't find them that hard to do. Use royal icing and remember to release pressure before you get to the center. Medium icing

try this............. I would use a buttercream, very simple.......or you could do the fondant with a cutter that's simple too

Thanks! I was thinking of making beforehand and letting them dry, to try and avoid the pink bleeding onto the white.

If you wanna do that, then royal icing would be perfect.......you can make all the flowers way ahead of time and then just simply put them on the cake when you're done!

I have a couple weeks before I need to make this cake. I think I will experiment with the royal icing, I guess I have plenty of time to practice!

Thanks so much for all your help!
