I picked up some FIORI DI SICILIA last night. Has anyone used this before in buttercream? Does it taste as yummy as it smells?

I have heard of it, and I know someone in one forum I belong to (out of the many!) uses it in all her white buttercream.

I will try it tonight and let you know how it tastes. I smells absolutely wonderful, so I don't know why I am hesitant.

Just wanted to let everyone know that the I tried the Fiori Di Sicilia in buttercream frosting and it was fabulous. It is a nice refreshing citrus floral taste. Even my 3 & 5 year old liked it. I used it on Petit Fours.

I use that all the time. It's totally awesome. It give a light citrus / vanilla flavor in cake or frosting. A little goes a long way though.

I made a lemon chiffon cake with blueberry filling and then flavored my buttercream with FIORI DI SICILIA and it cut some of the sweetness and was very tasty. It will be on the wedding cake I'm doing next month.

I've used it, too, and it was wonderful!

I bought mine from King Arthur Flour:
