Anyone Know How To Make Poppy Flowers From Gumpaste/fondant?

Don't know the first thing about making poppy flowers. Anyone know? I don't think they need wires, just the flower and I can attach with royal or bc.

I made one last summer at a class I took. They are heavy, so I would suggest that you use the wires anyway.

Here's a link to a tutorial on making poppies. I haven't tried it, but have used their tutorial for daffodils and it was very useful.

I don't know, but that tutorial and website are from England.
Wish I had found this topic about three weeks ago - but soooooo glad I found it now! That site is amazing. Kathy Moore? Wasn't she one of the competetors on a cake challenge on Food TV? I think she was. If I remember correctly she made her wedding bouquet out of gumpaste and no one even knew the difference.
