I got an order for a birthday cake. They said they really didn't care what was on it. They just wanted "Happy Birthday" with names and ages. It looks kind of boring to me. What should I add if anything? Or should I just leave well enough alone?

Thanks for your help!!

Perhaps an "&" sign in between the names and something small at the bottom in the middle of the names?

I like to have things in the corners of my cakes. Also, what are their interests? Could you incorporate those into the cake some way?

Curly Cue ribbon around the edges, with an accent color, that would be the easiest without getting too crowded.

An edging would be nice, perhaps the same color as the names.

Maybe some flowers or something in the corners? I guess it is for males, but I think it could use something in the corners.

It looks nice & neat, but I agree with the "&" sign btw the names. I would also add something to a few of the corners like balloons, ferns, scrolls in a complimenting color.
good luck

As others have suggested, I would put an & sign between the names and then something with more color in the corners. You already have the stars, but they're getting lost.
