I have a potential customer who wants 4 cakes of different sizes displayed on four different stands (carying heights), with "netting" under the cakes to make it look like they are floating. I could only find one pic in the gallery that seemed remotely close to what she had in mind. Has anyone done this? I would love to see a picture or know any tips on this?

I've never done one, but here are a few more ideas. Seems you just need to get the right sort of cake stand.

They look like the acrylic cake stands; you can find them on e-bay.

Any of these would do the job fine. The prices sound reasonable to me, but it would really depend on how much use you could give them. These types of cakes are not very popular in Australia.
