I'm sure your nephew (and his team) will love those...I think they turned out great! What did you use for the container? I have a nephew who is a sports freak and would love something like that! Jodie

I found the container at Walmart. It is a easter basket, when I saw it I just had to have it.

somerset - I used the NFSC recipe on this site. I iced them using the rolled buttercream and did the icing in royal icing.

Thanks guys for the comments! The basball team liked them, but the mothers liked them even more!

Awsome job!

I haven't done the research, I'm sure its out there but how and when do you insert the stick (or what do you use?) into the cookie. I think I pretty much have the rest figured out.

I really like yours and the baseball bucket! Is this from the Halloween stuff? thumbs_up.gif

baking for fun: I used both lollipop sticks and bamboo skewers, I like the bamboo skewers the best.

I have heard of two ways to insert the sticks before baking and immediatley after. I tried both and will stick with immediately after. As the cookie cools, it wraps itself around the stick.

The container I got out of the Easter stuff at Walmart, it is a Easter basket.
