I'm right there with ya'll. I've just recently discovered this website and I've been truly addicted to it since. I can't sleep at night for wondering what new additions I'm missing, I end up getting back out of bed and coming to see. I've shared this site with others because I just love it so much and can't believe everyone wouldn't love it as well.
So it's 2am and I've been here for an hour looking at cake pics and forum topics. I think its finally time to admit that I am addicted, and to start seeking professional help. You guys are all truely awesome and amazing at what you do. And I do mean ALL of you.
dky- are you kidding me? I looked at your cakes and they are fantastic! Especially that magic toadstool. How great is that!

dky .... if you don't think that you've made a good one yet, then I just need to leave the boards completely .. your cakes are incredible and the gumpaste flowers are divine ... I'm not anywhere near your league ..
I also agree that the cakes that are being posted lately are incredible, but as someone else said -- very intimidating.

I am going to take this as a complement because I have posted about 30 new cakes since i have started working 3 weeks ago. may i also add that i just got a raise this past friday and now i have a key to the store. i am having so much fun there and i cant wait everyday to get home and post the pics of the cakes i have done for the day.
dky: i agree your cakes ARE amazing. i love them all. dont forget we are hardest on ourselves.

I have to admit that this site is like a secret weapon for me. I only make cakes for family and friends, and when they come to me with an idea I improve upon it by looking at all of the creative cakes here. They are so impressed and always say " Where do you get you ideas!" I still haven't given up where I actually get them!
