D you use a 50/50 yellow/pound cake mix as per the directions or has anyone ever done just reg. cake? I've just had to make two of these and I am now about to go for a third attempt. The first time, the cake stood up just fine, but the bear had no face because I used an unfamiliar cake release product icon_cry.gif . The second one however, didn't stick but when I cooled it as per the instructions, she fell apart as soon as I depanned her. The very first one actually stayed in pan longer than recommened. I need help here, any suggestions or past experiences?

I've not done the bear but I've done the duck and the choo choo train. I always bake them longer than it says and for a bit longer than the toothpick comes out clean. I let it cool longer in the pan as well.

I've used regular French Vanilla cake mixes by Pillsbury with an added box of vanilla pudding when I made them

I have only made one and I used the Enhanced Cake Formula recipe on this site. It did great!
