Do I need to use a heat core for a full sheet cake?

I use the flower nail..... I think they advise anything 10" or over, you should use a core of some type....

I wonder if someone would be kind enough to post a picture of a flower nail for me??? I've tried to locate one here, but nobody has heard of them, even the specialty food equipment shops - so I might have to get DH to make me one. Thankyou!!
