Can I Do A Fbct For The Entire Top Of A Cake?

I am doing a grooms cake that is supposed to be camo--I am really nervous about the pattern turning out right so I thought a FBCT might be an option?

Anyone ever try this?

Sure you can do that. It is basically the same thing as the upside down icing technique. I have done it several times.

I haven't tried it but I plan to. It should be pretty easy! The hardest part of FBCT for me is finding the right image, design or pattern to use.

Yes I have done it and it turns out great! Just make sure to get it the right size...one time I did it and I thought I was being so smart to take the size from the inside of the pan, since that is how big the cake actually is. But I forgot about the added icing so it was a bit small. Not so small that I couldnt fix it with the borders.
