I am searching for a chocolate filling for a white cake. I usually make mousse fillings for most of my cakes. I am making this cake for my sister to bring to work for co-worker b-days. She specified white cake, chocolate filling but doesn't want to have to make sure it is refrigerated.
I like the fluffiness of the mousse filling. Is there anything like that that doesn't need refrig?

what is chocolate buttercream dream?

I just make cakes for family and friends so my collection of recipes is fairly small.

Thanks.

try chocolate butter cream

1 stick butter (room temp)
1/2 cup cocoa, beat the two together in your mixer add 3 cups confect sugar, 1 tsp vanilla and start with 3 tbsp milk at room temp - beat all together - add more milk as needed to get the thickness you want.

I have been wondering the same thing. My mom needs to take a cake with her and I need a filling that doesn't have to be refigerated. This chocolate buttercream sounds really good.
