How many cups of batter for an 11 x 8 pan? I need to put this in the oven tonight and am afraid to eyeball it.

okay...I'm so tired I don't even know what size pan I'm using! What I meant is how many cups of batter for a 12x18. Sorry!

cksmm5,
According to Wilton you need 14 cups of batter for a 12x18 pan.

cksmm5,

Sorry, I don't know because I've never used just box mixes alone. I've used the recipe here on cc called white almond sour cream cake and it perfect for the 12x18 pan.

If I'm not mistaken you would need about 3 boxes of cake mix.
