i made a 3 layer strawberry cank and put the filling in it (not alot) my cake is verrrrrrry slowly starting to slip, its' in the freezer right now, im hoping it will set up and wont slip so i can frost it but i dunno why ist doing this?? thanx in advance <3
Wow, I wish I could help you. I will read posts later to see what others say. I hope it stays up in the freezer.
You might want to put what kind of filling? And did you make a dam with frosting/icing so that you can put the filling or something like that?
Could be several things.
Was the cake still warm? The filling may be melting.
Did you add an icing dam before filling? The firm icing ring about 1/2 inch inside the edge of the cake will act as a dam and keep the filling inside.
Is the cake heavy all by itself? You may need to push in posts or dowel rods to hold it together.
Which way is it slipping?? Did you level the layers?
