I am going to post this here and see if anyone can help me! I just love the all of the helmet cakes on this site. Can anyone share some advice of how they made theirs? We are big football people I think will be great to do as my nephews b-day cake! Sorry but I SO addicited to this site that I can't make a cake without checking here for advice!!!! TIA!!!

I have made the Dallas Cowboys helmet cake and and a Cleveland Browns helmet cake. I started out with 3 10" round layers and cut away til I had the shape I liked best. I covered them with fondant and then cut out the face area, I made the face mask and let it dry overnight.

Wow, mypastrychef thoes pictures are amazing!! I would have to say not a big dallas fan but I bet it would look great with a horse shoe on the side (GO COLTS!!! icon_lol.gif ). Thanks so much for the help!!
