i posted on here about my buttercream roses and someone told me that you could use a hersheys kiss is that going to bother anyone that gets a rose i am new and i dont know. my buttercream is thich enough but i just wondered about the kiss thanks again dorothy from tenn

I don't think most people would be bothered by it. I think most people like chocolate so they would like the surprise. Or, just like some people don't like icing and scrape some/all of it off if they get one of the corner pieces or something like that (personally I look for those!), they'll probably notice that something is in the rose when they try to put their fork through it and if they don't like chocolate, just won't eat it. icon_smile.gif

So far after I learned that trick here (Hershey kiss) I have used it and no one complains. I let them know it is there ahead of time.

That's a cool concept......... my teacher said to make the center to look like a hershey kiss but I never thought of using one..... how do you keep it on the wax paper?

You use a dot of icing to hold it on--I like to do quite a few at a time. I line up the wax squares put a little frosting on, stick the kiss on top and then they have a little time to dry before you put them on the nail.
