When I make my NFSC's I mix the night before and roll it out between parchment paper and leave it in the fridge over night.

Since I usually make a double batch of NFSC's I use about 10-12 sheets of parchment paper. Parchment isn't very cheap so when I'm done baking I roll it up and put a rubber band around it and lay it in the back of my fridge for the next time I bake cookies. I've used this batch of paper 3 times and it's still holding strong. It doesn't take up any space in the regrigerator so it works out good for me.

Just a useful tip I thought I'd pass along. icon_rolleyes.gif

hey thanks.....I always try to re-use my parchment when I can but I use it for everything. I buy 1000 double sheets at the local rest. supply shop so they come out to approx. 2 cents a sheet, which is nice. I don't remember what I did before parchment paper...burned the heck out of my cookies, that's for sure! icon_lol.gif

i like baking my cookies on top of the paper. So that's how i re-use it. since i don't do what you do, i just re-use it over and over while rolling out the dough and baking til i'm done with the batch.

I've reused it for rolling, but has anyone reused it after it's been baked on??

I use mine to roll out my cookie dough then I bake on top of it. I usually bake like 3 or 4 times on one sheet then I throw it out because I know I have used it enough and besides after you use it in the oven it becomes greasy, brittle and thin.
