How long can cake batter stay out? I am going to make a cake using the 6 inch round. I will have to bake a couple and then wait until those are done to do the others (don't want to go buy more pans). Do I need to remix before using if it sits out for about 1/2 hour? Thanks!

I just did the same exact thing this past week with my 6 inch pan. I was worried about the batter just sitting there...but it turned out fine and I didn't mix it.

if it's longer than that, i would worry, but 1/2hr should be no problem
