I would like to do a purse cake for my MIL's bday, as she is CRAZY about purses. I don't have the first idea where to start, though. I've been looking at the galleries, but they seem beyond what I can do. icon_redface.gif Any tips on how to do one? What shape would be fairly easy to do? Would you do MMF (which I've never done before), chocolate clay, or buttercream with accents in either MMF or choc clay? Thanks for any help!

Attached is a link to easy, step by step instructions for a purse cake. You can make it as complicated as you feel comfortable with. Fondant, MMF are best for coverage. Never covered a cake with chocolate clay, but I am sure it would work.
