I am making a birthday cake for a friend tomorrow. It is feeding 35 people. I was wondering if I make an 8 inch and 6 inch rounds doubled with filling inside will be enough to feed 35 people. Should I make something bigger? Thanks!!

Totally agree, I will make the 8" and 10" cakes just to be on the safe side.

for a party I would figure 12 to 15 for the 8 inch 24 to 30 for a 10 inch

and maybe 6 to 8 for a 6 inch

how about a 10 and a 6 that sould be just about right unless they love your cakes and always want left overs..... hhhmmmmm

So I should do an 8 inch and a 10 inch then. Looks like I am going out to buy another cake mix!!
