I love this but I am not sure how to do it. It doesn't look complicated but I am sure someone here has a tip to make it easier.

Here is one MrsMissey did , I saw a few other but don't remember where.

TIA

Lauren

Use two bags one with each color and alternate as you make the rope border. The rope border is made by making a reverse "s" shape and then placing the tip into the second curve of the s and making another reverse "s" shape overlapping the bottom part of the first "s". continue around. Hopefully this may make a little sense.

Practice makes perfect and don't go too fast. When I go tooo fast I get distracted and end up doing an s instead of a reverse s. Good Luck!

Yes, I think any star tip would work as long as it is in proportion to the size of the cake. Give a try with #21.

I'm left-handed and I pipe a regular S and pipe the border from right to left.

Chelle--thanks he is our 8 year old "baby". We adopted him from a shelter when he was 18 months old.

My "baby" is 9! We got him at 6weeks old because the person who was supposed to pick him up from my Uncle's girlfriend never showed up!

They are wonderful - and never seem to outgrow the puppy stage!! Mine still steals towels, socks, anything that has been used!

He also LOVES fruits and veggies!!! (but no grapes, raisins or onions - very bad for him)
