Ok, just curious. Anyone planning on going to the cake show in Austin?
Personally I can't wait! This will be my first ever!!!!

I believe CC member, talmas, plans to go. I'd love to but am not able to travel. Have a great time!

TerryHorton, I'm going to Austin! Talmas is going, too. She's in the Arlington/Ft. Worth area, I'm outside Lewisville. Are you entering the contest or just going to have a look around? Either way, it will be a fun time.

P.S. - I know it might be a long way for you to come, but there is a cake club in the Dallas area. Sugar Wonders Cake Club meets in Sachse on the third Wednesdays of each month. www.sugarwonders.com The website is a tad out of date because I'm the one in charge of it, LOL!! We have our cake show every odd-numbered year, and are staging workshops throughout the year to help fund the 2007 show.

I was planning to go, but then decided against it. I have to go to Dallas twice this summer, once for the WMI teaching thing, then again for ICES. So I decided to save the money and use it for those.

I will be there icon_smile.gif I just moved to the Austin area and joined the capital confectioners cake club last month icon_smile.gif they are a great group of ladies..
this will be my first time entering a contest and I am NERVOUS!!!
I will be there most of the day icon_smile.gif Maybe I will see some of you there...
I will be working the door some that day also.....

I really wanted to go...however, my daughter has cheer tryouts that weekend and I can not miss that!
