Just wondering if anyone adds pudding mix to the white almond sour cream cake? It seems like adding the pudding into cake mix is the way to go but it isn't an ingredient on this recipe! I'd love input and advice! Thanks

I follow the WASC recipe to the letter...no need for extra pudding, it always comes out moist and delicious as is.

I only add pudding if I'm not following a specific recipe or using an extender and I just want to give the cake mix a special touch.

IMO pudding makes cake more dense and moist. HTH.

I just made a WASC cake last week and it is pretty dense, so I dont think you need to add the pudding to it! GOod Luck.

I made the white almond cake on CC, followed it exactly and really and truly it is SO moist there is no need for the pudding in this recipe. However, I use pudding in my other box mixes and its SUPER moist. But no need on the white almond cake, its delish!!!!!
