I am going on vacation in a couple of weeks to Gatlinburg. I was just curious if there are any cake supply stores (Other than Micheals, ac moore, etc) in the Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg area. The supply store I used to use has went out of business.

There is a great cake supply store that I frequent in Chattanooga if you were going to be driving thru. Its maybe three-four minutes from I-75 North. Its called The Sugar Shoppe. Heres their website. www.sugarshoppe.com The prices are comparable to Michaels & AC Moore. Good Luck!

Hi, I live in Sevierville which is right there near Gatlinburg (I LOVE IT HERE). Anyway, I used a supplier over in Knoxville which isn't really that far at all. He's located just off I-75 Merchants Road Exit to Central which is the next light. The name of the store is Sugarbakers. Larry is the owner and his staff are Ms. Caroline & Mr. Darrell. They are wonderful folks, and never fail to be of help in time of need. Always MORE than willing to share tips. We're leaving on vacation ourselves the 4th and won't be home till either the 11th or the 18th, depending on how things go. It would be so neat to meet another sister cake maker! 
I have gotten a lot of premade gumpaste bouquets & tons of supplies at SugarBakers in Knoxville. They have a website sugarbakersonline.com My aunt found it & I have been getting supplies there for a few months when I come back home to visit.

I'll have to try Sugarbakers. StandingForJesus are there any big events going on in Sevierville/Pigeon Forge that week (March 19 - 24th)? Last year we got a shock, there was a parade and we almost missed out time at Dixie Stampede. (We got to see Dolly though!) If was a neat suprise. I went to the Scrapbook superstore last year with my sister, so this year she's got to go cake shopping with me!!!

Does she ship.....I live in Lebanon, TN which is about 30 miles NE of Nashville. The only cake store here is in Brentwood which is quite a ways and the store is very small and doesn't carry the things I need. I order a lot off the internet and even have a store in Evansville, In that I order from all the time but is Sugarbakers will ship, that would be great.
