We all know about St. Paddy's Day, but not too many Americans know of the other patron saints of the UK.

March 1 - St. David is the Patron Saint of Wales - emblem: daffodil or leek. My great-grandmother was Welsh.

March 17 - St. Patrick's Day - and y'all know about him.

April 23 - St. George's Day - Patron Saint of England - emblem: red rose.

November 30 - St. Andrew's Day - Patron Saint of Scotland - emblem: thistle. My other great-grandmother was Scottish.

Have a great day.

Guess you do learn something new everyday! That's great might have to do some more research.
