Help, my grandson wants a skull and crossbones on his birthday cake. I need ideas/suggestions on how to do this. I've never done a FBCT with success and haven't worked with fondant very much.
TIA,
Leslie

I saw some skull and crossbone candy molds at my candy/cake supply place. Maybe that would work?

That sounds great . . . which store, Micheals, AC Moore or somewhere else?
Thanx,

I was gonna recommend a FBCT, but I see that is out. Isn't it just black and white?? You could always do the piping transfer and then fill in what you need on the cake?? Here is a couple of links, one is a nice pic of it, the other is a bunch of pics=)

i have a book by debbie brown, the cake itself is cut into a skull shape and the crossbones are molded out of fondant. it's a flat cake, it's really cute looking
