Can anybody tell me if you can buy Loran oils in a supermarket? I want some and a co-worker is going to New York and I want to asked her if she can bring me some?
I don't think so. I know you can buy some flavors in the craft stores (Michaels, AC Moore and Hobby Lobby). You can also usually buy them at local cake decorating supply stores. Search on the internet for the craft stores in the area that your friend is visiting.

Where in NY is your friend going?
there is a cake store in nyc (www.nycake.com)
they carry the oils. I have also seen them in the stores pp mentioned.
I can't get them here in Florida, but back in my hometown, I can only find them in drugstores!
ok, this could be a longshot here, but it's worth asking ya about...no throwing cake at me now!!!!
the first time i bought a bunch of lorann oils was a couple of years ago, when i was visiting my parents in eastern kentucky and went into one of the older style drug stores that also has a "soda shop" counter. it's one of those places that has a pharmacy counter, health and beauty items, figurines, medical supplies, hallmark cards, etc... if you are in a small town and have a drugstore similar to this, i would check there...you just never know!!!! i found tangerine, almond, cherry, strawberry, anise oil (?), peppermint, cinnamon, and a couple of other flavors...i grabbed two of each! impulsive buyer, can't help it!
If they aren't in the baking section check back near the pharmacy. They sometimes keep them there because, I've been told, that they can be harmful if kids would swallow the bottle full.
