Hi,
I found this cookies online today, I believe they were made for a cake/sugar show in TX this year, I don´t know who made them (wish I did so I can pick his/her brain). So I was wondering, any ideas on how they were done?? Beautiful, ha?

wow, that scroll work is astonishing! I wish I knew how many hours that took. I can see I have a lot of practice to do to get even close to that kind of work. Wow!

only a guess
but it looks like sugarveil icing

is iced with a hand-held, air powered tool for drawing very fine decorative details with icings, sauces, chocolate, and light batters.

Also, try www.sweetc.com. This site has some great stencils for cookies! I think you will find what you are looking for here.

yes, stencils and RI work together.

the big top most one looks to be done by taking a piece of lace or a part of a lace tablecloth and using that for the stencil (try it; it works!)

some of the others on the left may also have been done w/ lace.

just lay the lace down and gently ice w/ medium consistency RI being sure not to let the lace sift (the hard part!) and then grab edges of lace and lift straight up.
