I saw some ladies wearing a pink chef's jacket with black piping and knot style buttons. They were gorgeous! I have searched online for hours and haven't found any. Chefrevival makes a pink one but it doesn't have that black piping on it. It really stood out and looked very elegant.

Anyone know where to find these?

Thanks,
Ginger

I didn't find the exact one you described, but there is a pretty cute pink and black on this site, scroll down towards the bottom of the page, just after the bright red jacket. And, if you click on buttons you have a choice, including a black gabardine knot button.

I must be missing something, I have looked at all of them on this site and can't find a pink one with black piping. Could you link to it please?

I order my coats from culinary classics. You can get any color coat with any color trim, and the make shorter sleeve lengths for people like me who are only 5'2.

You have to order the piping in whatever color you want. So if you order a pink jacket, you can specify black piping. The pink jackets are item #5220, color 103. The code for the black piping is 10.

You know what one on Crooked Brook caught my eye? Your going to laugh. The maternity side tie jacket. I am quite short 5' tall and small, but my weight as I've grown older has shifted to my tummy and I am thinking "this looks really comfortable!" A little rose embroidered on it and CAKES COUTURE monogrammed and I'm all set. icon_biggrin.gif

Wow those are great looking.
When I had to wear chefs jackets i got my aunt to tailor them for me so that they fit my body. The mens jackets we got were just too boxy for women and tended to get in the way and it cost too much for a womens jacket.
Shirley that maternity jacket looks so comfy and stylish. To me it screams baker not chef, and definatley something i want to own.

Yes, it is an extra charge, but it's still at least half if not more the price of other places, even with the extra charge. And the quality and customer service is great, I've ordered a few jackets through chef wear.

the extra charge might be worth it as long as you get what you want

I just received a catalog and samples of the pink fabric from Culinary Classics. While they're selection and customization is awesome, I did not care at all for the quality of the pink fabric. It had so much polyester on it, you could hear it 'swishing'. I was talking to a friend on the phone and she could hear it! It's the kind of fabric that would cause some severe chaffing! Other than that, the color (and they also sent the hot pink) were gorgeous. If only they could do without the massive dose of polyester, I'd buy a few for sure.

They have twill and egyptian cotton in their selections, but only in black and white! I'd definitely order from this company in the future when shopping for white items. They have a one week turn-around on custom items. That is awesome timing, in my opinion.

Try www.kng.com. They have great prices. The white chef jacket with black piping is only $15.78. They have simpler styles starting at $9.52 and they can even do custom embroidery.

Also, check out www.chefrevivial.com - in their 'Goofs and Blunders' section (on the left hand side menu). They sell seconds for a fraction of the cost. Example: A $65 executive chef jacket sells for $12.

Great brand for a great price, if they happen to have your size available in that section.
