I am planning on doing a Lighting McQueen cake next month and I am getting my list ready for what I will be needing. My question is has anyone ever used the Wilton icing color sets? When I did my Scooby Doo cake I bought the colors I needed in Americolor brand. Does anyone have any suggestions on which one would work best? I did notice that the Americolors were much more user friendly.
Thanks

The Wilton set will work fine but I also prefer Americolor.

Do you prefer the Americolor because it easier to use or because the colors are brighter?

I prefer americolor because its both easier to use and better colouring. Works out cheaper in the end too.
Just a tip. If you really want red for McQueen you should try the Wilton colour spray over red tinted icing. Just be careful because it literally gets everywhere
