I have booked a wedding for May 12 and I am so nervous about this cake. I have done wedding cakes before but they have all been stacked cakes. This one will have 4 tiers, I have never done a tiered cake before, they look so unstable. I am afraid someone will bump the table and knock it over. Have you guys any suggestions to relieve my anxieties.

thanks,

pat

Dont worry. It will be fine as long as the weight is evenly surported then you have nothing to worry about. So just make sure the surports are evenly spaced.
Good Luck.
Hope you post the photos and let us know how you get on.

your cakes look amazing! you have nothing to worry about, you've made lots of 3 tiers with great success. just go with what you know.

ps, when im nervous about a cake i seriously write down all the steps in need to take when filling, icing, assembling, transporting, etc. it keeps me from making stupid mistakes and forgetting simple things! (like when i forgot to put my cake on a cakeboard, and the fondant i used to cover it glued the cake to my turntable, lol)
