Well I am starting to put together my plans for my first wedding cake, the bride has decided on a three tier square cake (1st square tiered cake) 8, 12, 16 staggered to look kind of like this cake. (http://cakecentral.com/modules.php?name=coppermine&file=displayimage&meta=favpics&cat=0&pos=-27386) So what stacking method should I use? I have done them all but cant decide when it comes to these square staggered tiers. I am building at the site and the bottom trim will be a satin ribbon so that can be placed once the tiers are set I just dont know what to do. Any experience with square tiers like this, I would love some feedback.

I just did one like that (at the top of my pics, pastel peach and blue), and I used the logicpic support system. It worked great, went together quickly and was pretty affordable.

Other than that, I'd always used hollow plastic or wooden dowels with good luck.
