From one "gramma" to another.... YOU DID GREAT!! It is a BEAUTIFUL cake 
Just wait until it is time for the wedding cake.... THEN you will know stress 
EVERYTHING went wrong with my granddaughter's wedding cake.... the thing that REALLY showed was the Periwinkle trim fadded to Blue overnight, and I couldn't do anything tho fix it........ But none of it mattered because Gramma made her cake..... she even had the D.J. announce that I had made it, and everyone should take a picture before they cut it.......

So you are saying you rented tables and chairs and games, moved all of your furniture around, had a huge party at your house and stayed up all night making a cake and feel bad that it wasn't enough?? I think the whole party was above and beyond a normal party, and your cake was beautiful to boot. Don't feel bad, you did a great job that any grandma should be proud of...

You're darling granddaughter doesn't care that she didn't have whatever cake you envisioned. She knows she had a cake, and it was a big cake and it was pink, and everyone loved it, and it was perfect, and she was princess. She's going to know that everyone was at HER grandma's house to celebrate her birthday and there were games and it was fun. It might not have been perfect in your mind, but I'm confident that it was perfect in hers. For throwing that kind of party and making that kind of cake, you were her hero - just what grandmas are supposed to be.
Its great!! Once I made a cake for my dd's 3rd birthday and it was a mess in my opinion but she loved it so much. We are our own worst critics. When she looks back through pictures when she is much older she will love the cake you made because her Granny made it, that makes it special no matter what it looks like. And yours looks great so be proud (((HUG)))
darcat, Thank you so much for your reply.That would be a great ideal with the separator plate make it as a riding ring . We have Tenn. Walking Horses that we show, but I have always wanted to go on a carriage ride. I'm proud of her, she pick the colors.
MomLittr, Thanks for your comments and oh how I miss those special times with my grandmothers even at my age. It sure is a GRAND kind of love isn't it . Let me say CONGRATS! on the new GB, best wishes.
Chiara, Thank you for the advice about patting my self on the back, haven done that yet, doing it now . I agree, I do think most Aries have that personality, I know I do.
Foxymomma521, LanaC & Dustbunny Thank You for your warm and uplifting words. I am feeling so much better now over the cake, funny how something that seems so small as decorating a cake, can really mess with your feelings, thoughts and heart. I know if I ever go through this again I will not let it get to me like I let this one do.
Again Thanks To Each & Every C.C.er for your encouraging thoughts, words of advice and comments.....they have taken the place of the stress in my heart from this cake experience.
