You know those books that list things like "things to be happy about" and stuff like that??? Okay, well I have one to add to that book. I have a few mounds (ahem
) of laundry sitting on the floor in my bedroom and in my laundry room (hey, I have two small kids, what can I say) anyway, I put in a load and I checked the dryer for a load that quite possibly had been sitting there for a day or two or three and low and behold "IT WAS EMPTY". Oh the joy and euphoria I felt! I love opening my dryer expecting the worst and then NOTHING!!! Kind of like finding a $20 in a pair of pants you haven't worn in a while.
Alright, so that's kind of lame but hey, little excites me these days.
Enjoy all!!!

oh NO I completely agree!!!....even better is when you head towards the washer thinking what a drag you have to wash and there aren't any clothes there!!!!!!!!! Makes my day........just as good as when I go to get the boys from their crib after a nap and it doesn't reek of stinky pants!!!!![]()
i totally agree- i've got 4 little ones, and i get excited when i don't forget a load in the WASHER, then have to rewash it because it smells funny ![]()
I thought I was the only one!! lol Wish my DH could read this right now....he thinks I'm the only wife/mom who has piles of laundry...seriously...lol. We have 'laundry mountain' in our bedroom...that's all of the clean laundry that I just can't seem to get folded and into the drawers and closets. Sometimes it's hard to find the bed! lol Then, just when I get the piles of dirty laundry on the floor of the utility room down to a bare minimum...within 24 hrs. the floor is again covered with dirty clothes! lol It's just one of those neverending things we deal with as moms, I think. Those little moments of finding the dryer or washer empty are WONDERFUL!! ![]()

Oh you poor thing! Is your little one okay!
Yeah, I have piles of folded clothes sitting on my dining room table that just don't seem to make it upstairs. Most days I don't even get back upstairs until it's time to go to bed. If I do make it upstairs it's just to drop off a few piles of folded clothes and then it's like another 6-8 hours before I make it up there again and all I want to do it drop in the bed and sleep but oh no, I have piles of clothes that need to be hung up first. Forget that, I just pile them on the floor and wake up to start the whole process again the next day. I really don't like monotony!!!!! ![]()

I JUST KEEP TELLING MY MOM WHEN SHE STOPS OVER THAT THE 5 LAUNDRY BASKETS FILLED WITH CLEAN LAUNDRY ARE A BLESSING BECAUSE AT LEAST THEY ARE CLEAN. IT COULD BE WORSE AND IT COULD ALL BE DIRTY LAUNDRY AND THAT WOULD STINK! I THOUGHT I WAS THE ONLY ONE THAT HAD A HEAP OF LAUNDRY. I HAVE TO GO THE WASHING MACHINE IS DONE!
This is funny, at this exact moment I am doing laundry - well, I just loaded the washer. Before I could gather up all the dirty laundry I had to empty all the clean clothes out of my clean baskets!!! Right now my 3 year old and 11 month old are playing on a mountain of towels - whatever keeps them happy right!!!
