I need any ideas that you guys might have for a 2 year old birthday party. The mom is doing a "dance" theme, not really specific to a certain type of dance like ballet. She asked for ideas and I have NONE! Thanks!!

Can you make chocolate molds of dancing items? Is there a store nearby, or will you have to order, time permitting?? Some cake decorating stores will print pictures on rice paper for a small fee. I'd ask mom for more details. Why dance? What kind? Era? Nutcracker? I think you'll have more ideas once you know what she truly expects.

The two year old just loves to dance to any kind of music. She is doing activities at the party like the hokey pokey, freeze dance, etc. My one thought was to do kid-shaped cookie cut-outs and have them angled/turned to look like they're dancing. My other thought was to do a CD player or jute box? She's so little I just don't know if she'll get it?

OK--I'd go with musical notes, CD's. dance shoes, various musical instruments. I think that would take up most of the cake. Be sure to post a pic---this will be cute! Also, check out the gallery here for ideas.
