I'm never sure on pricing and I've never seen this type of cake in a bakery to go off of. It was a two layer eight inch red velvet cake filled with BC. White chocolate wrap with hand dipped strawberries. I charged $50. What would you have charged?

between 52 and 75, depending on how long it took to make and the quality of ingredients (expensive chocolate?)

alot of depends on where you are located too...$50 is very reasonable anywhere...but I probably would have done $60 here. There is something I havent tried...How do you do the chocolate wrap? I think I could figure it out, but instructions are waaaaaay helpful. If you could give the readers digest version....I would appreciate it!

Chocolate wrap cake = $36.00 for 8".
Chocolate covered strawberries=$16.00 dozen (and that looks like more than a dozen!)
That is absolutely beautiful; they got a reasonable deal, and you could have charged another 10-15 dollars easily.

Oh wow, it looks sooo perfect, I agree with the $75 price tag, strawberries are expensive and your work is flawless! Can you tell more on how you did the chocolate wrap?? Love your work, congratulations!

ShirleyW taught me how to do it and there is a thread in the cake decorating forum with complete instructions from her. I'll give you the link since her instructions are way better than mine would be, her wraps are beautiful! Thank you for all your comments!

I buy Guittards chips, they have the regular white chocolate but every now and then my cake supply store has the bright white chips. I need to start stocking up when they have them in. Thanks!
