how often do you use a brush to work on your cookies? I never have but looking at how smooth everyones cookies are I was wondering.

I have never tried it but I'm looking forward to see all the suggestions & help.

Mandze,
I don't use a paintbrush when icing cookies. I've tried it but the cookies don't look as nice if you shake it. (hold the cookie in your hand and shake it side to side- the icing, if thin enough, will move).
