First of all I just wanted to say a few things everyone here are Great and I have learned alot from the people here.I just hope one day my cakes look as good as they do here.

Ok,I am doing my First wedding cake and the lasy only wants a two tier all vanilla cake with all white buttercream icing and wants pink&yellow spring flowers on it.I charged her $50.00 dollars. Is that to high.

Please someone get back to me

Wow, that is really low in my opinion... how many did it serve? How big are the tiers?? I know servings for wedding start at $2.50 for buttercream and $3.50 for fondant (in average). HTH.

Nope, not high at all... most are by the slice. I have seen people post anywhere from 1.50 and up... But, price where you feel comfortable.

Oh, and be sure to post a pic! icon_smile.gif

price sounds good to me for just starting out with wedding cakes. you can always go up in the future as you learn how long it takes you and how difficult the design is, etc.

good luck, looking foward to the photo.
