I was going to bring a cake to a St. Patrick's Day party tonight. Now, the cake is in the garbage!!!!! When I leveled the cake, it broke aparty. I tried to "glue" it. I did not let the ganache harden enough and it started pouring out the sides of the cake. My icing was full of chocolate crumbs. I guess it was just not a day for cakes. I am trying to get my happy mood back so I will have a good time at the party. Another day, another cake.

Oh, my first thought too was to make cake balls. Just crumble up everything and pour or dip in more chocolate. Just look at the recipe here in the recipe section. Everyone will LOVE them.

Every one has bad days. I am sorry this happened to you.

Oh dolfin, I read your signature. That's hysterical!!!!!!! I'm one of those skinny little women that people always ask, are you hungry? No I'm not hungry, I'm just skinny. 5'4" 105lbs. Anyway, I had the shorts problem when I was pregnant and ballooned like a pregasarous. I gained over 60 pounds both times. My shorts would ride so high! Yeah I was one of those people that you see pulling their shorts out of their inner thighs when they get out of the car or just walk. It's funny now but not then. Oh Lord, I forgot what the cake disaster was from this original post! I guess it's true about your memory going when you have kids. lol kind of.

Oh PLEASE tell us your not really crying. If you are I'll cry too. Really, it's a contagious thing. I know all too well your frustration, you can either save it for midnight munchie madness or cake balls. Better yet, how about both? See no more tears, everyone wins here.
