My fiancé aunt asked me to make her son's birthday cake. I happily said yes and asked her what she wanted. She told me chocolate cake filled with chocolate mousse with cream cheese icing!! I looked at her funny and she acted like this was normal. I was a little shocked (I mean chocolate with cream cheese??) So I went home whipped a sample cake and it was WONDERFUL!!! I couldn't believe it. The cream cheese frosting really enhanced the chocolate cake without overpowering it like chocolate frosting does sometime. Anyway I am a chocolate FREAK who loves my frosting but I just wanted to share a different way to have a chocolate cake!

I doesn't sound appealing, but sometimes you just have to take a chance and taste it. I'll have to try it out on my family and friends.

The last time someone asked me to try something weird it was Fritos corn chips with vanilla ice cream and I liked it...go figure.
