Need Ideas For Cupcakes For New Business Opening
Decorating By thecupcakemom Updated 18 Mar 2007 , 3:39am by ValMommytoDanny
I'm just starting out my new business and want to get my name out there. I live in a small town and the local office supply store is moving to a new location. I thought I could make a batch of cupcakes decorated w/ theme to give as a gift to them w/ my name so people know I'm doing cakes/cupcakes. Any suggestions? I'd like something that looks difficult, but isn't. This way, if I get requests for them I won't lose my shirt in profit. ![]()
What I did for a "girly girl" store nearby (they specialize in fancy purses, bling jewelry, cool candles, etc.) is to use their colors (pink and green) and their "motto" (?) (which was not their logo) of presents and made them cookies and molded chocolates in the form of presents. I know you are dealing with cupcakes, but the thought is the same, look for not necessarily the logo, but the theme of the business (in this case presents) and if they have a color scheme they use, go with that. Hope that helps give you a start. ![]()
I like Doug's idea of Make a note of our new address... or perhaps a small image of a pink "take a message" notepad with the name of the company and we're moving. I think that would have to be done with an image printer though...
hope this helps - sounds like a great idea. ![]()
