If anyone here is from San Diego, where do you go to get all of your cake decorating supplies?

Thanks!

I am new to all this so right now I am buying all my tips and decorating supplies at Micheals in Chula Vista. They have an ok selection. I just get whatever else online if I can't find it. Walmart sometimes has decorating supplies too!

Hi, I found this store online quite by accident. My daughter lives in San Diego so I'm planning a visit for the cake show on March 24th and plan on visiting the store to go shopping. If I only lived there I'd be signing up for some classes!

I live in Escondido and shop at Do It With Icing as well. Love the place! icon_smile.gif

I've been hoping to go to that store to take some of their advanced classes! But I'm an hour and a half away (by Disneyland). But I can't seem to raise anyone from the orange county cake club I found from a link at the Do it with icing web site. I guess cake decorating classes in Orange county must have died (at least, their emails bouced back).

I just recently visited DO IT WITH ICING. Neat store. More things available than Michaels. Box selection was amazing, I thought. I also heard from another CC member who went to GREAT NEWS. She said Great News was very close to DIWI. I haven't been there. I looked on the internet...Great news seems more of a cooking store.

DIWI is on Clairemont Mesa Blvd. After you exit the 805, go east. Go past the golfing place, and one more block. It's on the left side of the street in a small little business office strip. I passed by it twice. Here is the link
