I don't know if anyone else has figured this out but I thought I'd share. I just bought last week a fondant smoother since I had an extra coupon and didn't get one for my birthday! I hadn't any fondant to smooth so I thought I'd see how it worked on a crusting bc with a viva towel. WOW! Does that work so nicely!! I know usually with my hands on the towel I still get like impressons from my fingers but with the smoother, it comes out awesome! I'll use my hands on spots where I need a little heat to smooth a wrinkle but other than that, the smoother works great!!

Thanks for the tip. Being someone who can't seem to smooth a cake to save my life, I appreciate any techniques shared. I'll have to give this one a try thumbs_up.gif

Yeah, that's what I use, too, the fondant smoother and viva. It is AWESOME! I'll never do anything else!

Yep...the fondant smoother is how I do it too. You can basically "buff" out any imperfection in your BC!
