I tried 335 degrees and it took forever to bake. Edges were a tad overbaked and center was underbaked.

Try baking it with a flowernail in the middle of it. It takes mine about an hour to bake.

I bake at 325, even without a flower nail and it bakes evenly.

Thanks. I should have said it was a 3" deep pan.

Still bake at 325?

I bake mine at 350 with 2 flower nails in the middle - it takes about 40 - 45 min. but I make 2 shallow layers (only 2 mixes) so that I don't have to torte.

I do the same... just put an inch of batter in and then make two layers.
