I still haven't decided if I'm going to try using an edible image on the bettercream or not. If I don't I was thinking about trying a chocolate transfer, how do they hold up on whipped icing?

I get my frosting sheets from icing magic, I emailed them and asked about using them on whipped icing and she said that she had never done it before but didn't see why you couldn't. Still don't know what to do...cake is due at 5pm tonight. icon_eek.gif

I've used chocolate transfer on buttercream before. If that's what you mean by whipped, then it works just fine. Hope I'm understanding your question right! icon_confused.gif

This is the one I've tried it with.

If you're talking about a product like Rich's Bettercream that you pour from a container and whip in your mixer, I have used a FBCT on that. The transfer came out fine, I just had a heck of a time trying to smooth the bettercream. (I much prefer buttercream and a Viva towel!) But anyway, no problem with the transfer on top of bettercream.
