I have to do a cake and I need just a little bit of green icing. I bought the betty crocker icing that is in the can and it has all of the different tips on it. I was wondering if anyone has ever used that and how do you store it. Thanks Jen

We have BC icing here in a can, but it doesn't come with tips...is it a tube? Either way, you can store the icing in another container if it's not sealed properly, and keep it in the fridge. It take a LONG time for it to go bad.

I think I bought that tipe of icing a long time ago to decorate some cookies. You need to store the can in a cool place or the fridge and try to use it at soon as posible, sometimes it turns grainy or melts.About 2-3 weeks.HTH. icon_biggrin.gif
