Can I Put Royal Icing Flowers On Bc?

I am making a cake for tomorrow and I am planning on putting royal icing daisy's on a buttercream cake. Someone said that the buttercream will break down my flowers and cause them to crumble. I made the daisy's last weekend so they are good and dry will they be fine or should I rethink my cake?
Any help on this will be GREATLY appreciated.
Hi there, I've done the same thing and there was no problem at ll the daisies were fine there is a picture of the cake in my photos (its the brtz cake) Good luck ![]()
I have used royal icing flowers on buttercream and it works fine! I think it would take several days before the royal would start to get soft, from what I understand. I have only had one in my presence for 24 hours, with no signs of breakdown!
