I know it is posted somewhere but need a quick reply. How long can you keep the mmf before you use it and what is the best way to keep it fresh. I read somewhere it said to put in frig and then somewhere else were it said not to.

do not put it in the fridge. Wrap in saran wrap and then put in an airtight baggie or container. You can save it for a few weeks, as far as I know.

I also store room temp in saran wrap with crisco and then a ziploc bag. As long as it is air tight you can keep it for as long as you want. Also, keep away from direct sun light. HTH.

Hi,
I have some MMF I made last Sept (I remember since I made yellow MMF for my son´s birthday cake, spongebob in my avatar) and no joke, I forgot I had it and found it a week ago and tasted it and it was perfect, just microwaved it for like 10 secs and kneaded in some crisco, it was as good as new. Nothing in MMF would make it go bad since it is all sugar.
HTH.
